80Mildred Tsurue "Millie" Shioji, 76, of Hilo, a retired Waiakea Elementary School teacher and former teacher at Paauilo and Honokaa elementary schools, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. She was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. She is survived by son Don, daughter Leilani and hanai brother George Applegate. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. April 9 at Puhi Bay, Keaukaha.
