74James Shelley Stutheit, 88, of Ocean View, Hawaii, a retired DuPont Co. nuclear physicist, died. He was born in Kearney, Neb. He is survived by sons Steve and Bruce, daughters Joan Gaunt and Jan Stutheit, sisters Betty Gilby and Barbara Herrington, and three grandchildren. Private burial.
