WILLIAM 'BILL E. STERLING Age 69, of Ewa Beach, HI, passed away March 25, 2016 at home. Born January 11, 1947 in Saint Mary's, Maryland. A U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He worked for various retail and wholesale companies (WIGWAM, Reyn Spooner, Outrigger Hotelas, and Island Imports). He volunteered as a Disabled-Parking Enforcement office for the Honolulu Police Department. He is survived by wife, Alice; step-daughter, Jaclyn Saramosing; daughters, Michelle Tugaoen and Robin Sterling; son, William "Troy" Sterling; brothers, Timothy, James and Robert Sterling; sister, Mary Lewis; and 3 grandchildren. Visitation 9:00 a.m., Thursday (Apr. 14) at Mililani Mortuary Downtown Chapel (20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu). Funeral service 10:30 a.m.; Committal service 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
