Shirley Ka'ala Yuriko Brown Young, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired Pacific Bell employee and a Marine Corps veteran, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Darren; daughters Donna Young, Debbie Greer and DeAnn Barkley; sisters Lani Gohier, Karen B. Kamelamela and Rowena Jay; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
