81Alva Nalani Kalama Fonoimoana, 69, of Laie, formerly of Azusa, Calif. died at home. She was born in Hoolehua, Molokai. She is survived by husband Carl Malele; sons Carl Malele Jr., Opapo and Samuel; daughters Julia "Kanani" Tuala, Lena "Lehua" Siaosi, Amelia "Mataniu" Manu, Nalani Young, Violet Fonoimoana-Cold, Esther Langi, Vaimasina "Sina" Fonoimoana and Valerie Fitisemanu; brother Wayne Kalama; sisters Valerie Varner and Renee Wise; and 42 grandchildren.
