Joseph Genobaga, 63, of Waianae, a retired correctional officer and Navy veteran, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Iwalani; sons Kai, Joseph Jr., Brian and Raymond Genobaga, and Walter Solomon; daughters Leilani Gray, Shayna Genobaga and Geraldine and Abegail Solomon; mother Lucy; numerous brothers and sisters; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. April 23 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kalaeloa Chapel, 2074 Laulwiliwili St., Kapolei. Services: noon. Cremation to follow.
