76Hilario Cacho Cabanting, 94, of Hilo, a retired planting machine operator for Puna Sugar Co., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Virginia; daughter Carmela Flett; sons Edwin, Larry and Tommy; brother Alfredo; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. April 29 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Service: 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
