Yoshito Okata, also known as "Awo" and "Wally," 83, of Pearl City, a retired carpenter for the Barbers Point Navy Public Works Center, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by daughters Diane Sukita, Valerie Suzuki and Sandra Sato; brothers Toshio and Jerry K.; sister Chizuko Yasuhara; caregiver Grace Camacho; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. April 30 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
