Malcolm Ka'aikaula "Mac" Hikalea, 66, of Citrus Heights, Calif., a Navy veteran and a truck driver, died in Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Roseville, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son John, daughter Heidi Hikalea Weston, stepson Chad Moreland, mother Rebecca, brothers Michael and Myron, sisters Harilyn Kaalekahi and DeDe Pestrello, former wife Donna Yates and eight grandchildren. Celebration of life and paddle-out: 11 a.m. May 7 at Kaiona Beach Park, Waimanalo Beach. Additional information for an obituary published Sunday.
