Elgen Kazuyoshi Fujimoto, 86, of Hilo, a retired state maintenance worker for the Hawaii Public Housing Authority, retired carpenter and and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Volcano, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Janet K., son Arlen, sister Grace Hirata and two grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. May 6 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Burial: 9 a.m. at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
