74Colleen Evelyn Starmer, 85, of Kihei, Maui, a retired state Department of Human Services employee, manager of 13 Wailea and Lahaina jewelry stores, a training director for San Bernardino and Riverside adult Girl Scouts, and Maui County Girl Scouts director, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Burbank, Calif. She is survived by son Greg, daughter Alison Hethcote, brother Floyd Bradley Venable, sisters Diane Major and Gail Venable Jones, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
