Kenneth Susumu Tanizaki, 84, of Waipahu, American Renaissance Academy founder, an Air Force veteran and a retired Brasseler employee, died in Seattle. He was born in Marshland, Ore. He is survived by son Steve, daughters Marlene Beckman and Kelly Tanizaki, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. May 4 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
