82Sylvia Carol Keohoaeaeokahakukaalani Young, 80, of Hilo, a retired elementary school teacher at Hilo Union School and former choir director of the St. Joseph Aloha Choir, died in Waimea, Hawaii. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Gary, Stephen and Alan; daughters Laura and Jeannette Young; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. May 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire.
