$nameFRANCIS KEALIINOHOPONO DESHA BEAMER JR. "Biggie" "Pono" "Pops" February 26, 1925- April 3, 2016 Born to Francis K. Sr and Louise Leomalama Walker Beamer with a love for music in that special Beamer style. He loved gatherings with his cousins Marmionett, Mahiai, Peter Carl, Gaye, Helen "Sunbeam", Milton "Sonny", younger brother Cleighton "Keola", and nephews Jesse,Matt and Billy Beamer. His house and heart was always open to all and a source of much merriment and fond memories. He is preceded in death by son and grandson, Francis lll and Francis IV, brothers Walker "Towhead", Cleighton "Keola", sister Nona, hanai son George Ferrara and his beloved wife Myrtle Ka'uinohea for whom he penned the song "The Letter" while away during World War II. He is survived by son David Kailipeleuli, daughter Leslie Louise Ka'uinohea "Addie" (Robert) Tanaka, hanai son W. Bones Yuen and sister Flora "Tita" (Randy) Solomon. Nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grand- children, nephews and nieces. Uncle Biggie was a father figure to Mike,Terry and Jimmy Kincaid,Keith Meyer,Sal Ricca, Mike Mossman,Randy Godfrey, Foto Oliva, Billy Richards,Kumu Vasconcellos,Gordon Helm,Cliff Lancaster and Rodney Sakata to name a few.
