81Kay Kumiko Yamauchi, 93, of Hilo, a retired intermediate school teacher for the state Department of Education, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Joe T., son Dr. Dave Yamauchi, daughter Lori Yamauchi and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
