KEITH KAEOLANI PEDERSEN
KEITH KAEOLANI PEDERSEN Keith was born of February 14, 1977 and passed away on April 26, 2016. He was born in Honolulu. Keith attended Maryknoll Schools and graduated from Aiea High School in 1995. He attended Hawaii Pacific University and Chico State University, playing soccer at both colleges. He was an auto salesman for dealerships in Hawaii and Arizona. He is survived by his parents Patricia and Ramsey Pedersen; brother Kevin Pedersen and sister-in-law Julie Pedersen; grandmother Beryle Puu; aunt and uncle Gayle and Joseph Carrol; cousins Anna and Marie; uncle and aunt John Kalani and Linda Puu; cousins Kela, Kalei, John Kalani III, and Dee Ann; uncle and aunt Dean and Carol Puu; cousins Joshua, Rachel and Jacob. Keith was a gregarious young man who loved his family and friends. His sports passion was as a soccer player, playing on five state championship HYSA teams for the Bulls Soccer Club and competing in Western Regional Championship Tournaments. He was selected by the USYSA to attend two Olympic Development tryout camps in Montana and New Mexico. He also played soccer for Aiea High School and was awarded a soccer scholarship by Hawaii Pacific University, later playing for Chico State University. He played for Lanikai Tuesday of the Major Island Soccer Organization. A private mass and celebration of life was held. Arrangements by Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
