72Kaulana Matthew Auwae "Lana Boy" Werner, 19, of Nanakuli, a Honolulu Wood Treating employee and Sterling College student, will be remembered in a Mass 11:30 a.m. May 14 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Nanakuli, and in services 11 a.m. May 21 at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Memorial Chapel, Kamehameha Schools. He died in Nanakuli. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by father Eddie Jr.; mother Paula; brothers Keola and Reno Auwae; sisters Mary Werner, Hoku CelesWerner, Britney Alaiafune-Bailey, Rena Auwae and Rainna Yaw; and numerous grandparents. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. May 14 at the church (parking next to church at Nanakuli Ranch). Eulogy: 10:45 a.m. Cremation to follow the Mass. Additional visitation: 9:30 a.m. May 21 at the chapel.
