81Philomena Pao Hicom "Mena" Verano, 92, of Pearl City, a retired Kapalama Elementary School cafeteria baker, died in Aiea. She was born in Waialua. She is survived by husband Jun; daughter Evelyn Igarta; brother Julian Ledesma; sisters Dorothy Quizon, Francis Berbano, Dolores Ashimine and Catherine Kirsch; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. May 15 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. May 16 at the mortuary.
