CHARLES SABURO FUNAKOSHI 76, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Fire Department firefighter, also former manager for Evergreen Restaurant and Lounge, died at home on April 9, 2016. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons, Girard N., Dean C., brothers, Harold Y. and Kenneth Y., sister, Joy T. Tanabe, five grandchildren. Visitation 5 p.m. May 20 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
