81Luciana Rivera "Lucing" Jose, 85, of Hilo, a self-employed guava and papaya farmer, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Flora, Apayao, Philippines. She is survived by husband Angelo; sons Victor and Joel; daughters Erma Natividad, Bong Rivera, Gemmalee Arellano and Judith Acob; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. May 17 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. May 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pahoa, Hawaii. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
