73Charles Saburo "Charlie" Funakoshi, 76, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Fire Department firefighter at the Liliha station and an Evergreen Restaurant and Lounge manager, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Girard N. and Dean C., brothers Harold Y. and Kenneth Y., and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. May 20 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
