Tommy Tamio Kono, 85, of Aiea, a three-time Olympic weightlifting champion, retired city physical fitness specialist and an Army veteran, will be remembered in services 10 a.m. May 23 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, 20 S. Kukui St. He was born in Sacramento, Calif. He is survived by wife Florence, sons Jamieson K. and Mark E., daughter JoAnn T. Sumida and three grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. May 23 at the mortuary.
