Emeline Uluave Unga, 79, of Laie, a teacher at Kahuku High and Laie Elementary schools, and Brigham Young University, died in Texas. She was born in Mua, Niuafoou, Tonga. She is survived by sons Ofeina D., Tevita, Mesui and Fusiloa S.; daughters Loseana Thomas, Jean Unga-Cocker, Salome D. Folau, Seluvaia Havea, Uilou Poafa, Mafoa'aeata Taiala and Meleane Kafalava; brothers Kalisitiane, Pitaseti, Alama and Siotame Uluave; sisters Fololini Havea and Lose Langi; 46 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
