EMERY SHUNRO NAKASHIMA Age 91, of Pearl City, HI, passed away May 6, 2016 in Honolulu, HI. Born April 3, 1925 in Honolulu, HI. He served in the Mililtary Intelligence Service for the U.S. Army during WWII and retired as an electronics technician at NAVSEACENPAC (Naval Sea Support Center, Pacific). He is survived by wife, Mary Nakashima; daughters, Leatrice Nakashima, Jocelyn (Stanley Ching) Nakashima, Linda (Gary Sakumoto) Nakashima; brothers, Brian (Sue) Nakashima, Charles (Thelma) Nakashima, Edwin (Janice) Nakashima, Walter (Gloria) Nakashima; sisters, Irene Oki, June Ooka, Ruby Matsumoto; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (May 24) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; memorial service 10:30 a.m. Burial 1:00 p.m. Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. No flowers please.
