Emery Shunro Nakashima, 91, of Pearl City, an Army veteran who served with the Military Intelligence Service during World War II and a retired electronics technician at Naval Sea Support Center, Pacific, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mary; daughters Leatrice, Jocelyn and Linda; brothers Brian, Charles, Edwin and Walter; sisters Irene Oki, June Ooka and Ruby Matsumoto; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. May 24 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. No flowers.
