Elisara Paogofie, 72, of KailuaKona, a United Fishing Agency foreman, died in Kohala Hospital. He was born in Pava'ia'i, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Tupu; sons Pele, Clinton, Kona, Fiaigoa, Wilton and Felise Paogofie, Leko Mareko and Clayton Paogofie-Peters; daughters Leetha Buyten, Noe Paogofie, Lulu Paogofie-Peters, Vai Tuiono and Jerrica Fa'alelea; brothers Fiaigoa and To'oolefua; sisters Fa'alelei Soli, Fiatele Muao, Felili Filipo and Carleen Godfrey; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. June 3 at Kona United Methodist Church, 74-4960 Palani Road. Services: 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
