Everett Konakai Kaiama, 86, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co. foreman and heavy equipment operator, a cattle rancher and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Elizabeth P.; sons Dexter and Samuel; daughters Paulette Vocal and Rachel Kaiama; stepsons Robert, Brian and David Cabuag Jr.; stepdaughter Stacey "Lani" Cabuag; brother Arthur; sister Gwendolyn Kim; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. June 4 at Imiola Congregational Church, Kamuela. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
