James Suemitsu Matsuda, 88, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard welding supervisor and an Army retiree, died in Manoa Senior Care. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Margaret, sons Craig and Marvin, daughter Joy Turbeville, sister Fusae Jyo and a grandchild. Visitation: 5 p.m. June 3 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
