Demetrio Dilia "Larry" Abalos, 93, of Honolulu, a retired plumber for the federal government and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Herminia; sons Larry, Jerry and Edward; daughters Sharlene Neal, Lorna Dicus and Leona Abalos; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. June 8 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
