NATHAN “CUZ” KIM
$nameNATHAN CUZ KIM Nathan J. Kim, 51, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was a 1982 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nathan was a former member of the Hawaii Army National Guard, an avid bodyboarder and skier, and he loved to travel. For the last twelve years he was a bartender at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Rossana Kim, mother, Yoshiko Kim, brother Mirio Whitley, as well as many cousins, family members and friends from Hawaii and Las Vegas who loved him very much and will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the John A. Burns Hall on the grounds of the Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park, 2685 North Nimitz Highway. Reception will begin at 9:00 a.m. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. with luncheon to follow. Although lunch will be catered, you are welcome to bring a dish or pupu that you think Cuz would have loved. Aloha/casual attire. BYOB. The scattering of his ashes will held on Sunday, June 12, at Mokuleia Beach Park on the north shore of Oahu.
