Wilfred Butay, 69, of Waianae, a retired environmental specialist at Pearl Harbor Public Works Center and an Army veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by sons Mark, Dwayne, Derrick, Mike and Scott; daughters Michelle Butay, Lisa Butay-Lono, Liza Caspino and Kimberly Gauthier; stepmother Rufina; brothers Kelly Butay and Valleriano Guillermo; sisters Solidad Ortiz, Lani Guillermo and Ofelia Tutop; 33 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
