Doris Hideko Chinen, 82, of Kailua, retired seamstress for a hotel's uniform room, died in Castle Medical Center, and husband Yoshio Chinen, 87, a U.S. Postal Service retiree and an Army veteran, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. He was born in Anahola, Kauai. They are survived by sons Mark and James, daughter Janice Lee and six grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Robert Miyashiro. Visitation: 5 p.m. June 17 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
