William Alfred "Bill" Funk, 75, of Mililani, a retired Army safety officer at Schofield Barracks and a retired Air Force technical sergeant, died in Honolulu. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He is survived by wife Arlene M., sons William D. "Bill Jr." and Daniel L., and sister Betty J. Visitation: 1 p.m. June 18 at First Assembly of God -- Red Hill. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Committal services: 11:30 a.m. June 21 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
