Chikao Higashi, 85, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Wahiawa and Makakilo, a construction worker, died in Myrtle Beach. He was born on Kauai. He is survived by sons Dr. Eric and Wade, daughter Lorelei Derr, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 1:30 p.m. June 18 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Kapolei. Aloha attire. No flowers.
