Robert R. “Bob” Reierson
ROBERT R. BOB REIERSON Robert Renhart Reierson. Born August 6, 1929 in Honolulu; died June 4, 2016. Son of Thomas Palmer Reierson and Alice Fisher. Graduated Punahou School, 1948 and the University of Washington, 1953. Served in the United States Army. President and General Manager of Motor Supply, Ltd for over 50 years. Married Delores Elizabeth Stockstad in his parents' home on Round Top Drive in 1955. Member of the Outrigger Canoe Club since 1944 and of the Oahu Country Club since the 1960's. Loved the ocean and all things Hawaiian. Traveled all over the world with his dear wife Del, but always lived in, and loved, the Manoa Valley. Loyal, generous, tenacious, kind and hardworking patriarch of our Ohana. Favorite quote: "Inch by inch it's a cinch, yard by yard it's hard." Huge fan of Punahou and University of Hawaii sports. Member of the Manoa Ward of the LDS Church. Survived by his daughter, Betsy (Dan) Livingston of Newport Beach, California; and his four grandchildren, Danny Livingston, Leilani (John) Jones, David (Jaimee) Livingston, and Eva Reierson. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years earlier this year and previously by their son, Michael Reierson. Services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Honolulu Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1560 South Beretania Street. In lieu of flowers, please honor Bob by taking your favorite friend or relative out to lunch and talk story!
