Walter Stephen "Walt" White, 88, of Hilo, proprietor of WS White & Son Engineering and a Navy veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Malden, Mass. He is survived by son Stephen, daughter Linda Sweinhart and sister Marjorie Erlandson. Graveside services: noon June 24 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire.
