Ernest Bento "Ernie" Enos Jr., 77, of Kailua, a state maintenance supervisor mechanic at the University of Hawaii Department of Astronomy and an Army Reserve veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mellie, sons Christopher and Daniel, daughter Laurie Ann Hope, brother John, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
