Boniface "Sonny" Smith Jr., 79, of Kaneohe, a retired motor vehicle operator with Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, and a Navy veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Nora; sons Daniel "Danny," Erik and Froy; daughters April Aiwohi and Candi Smith; brothers Daniel and Dalton; sister Lanalyn Kalahiki; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
