73Karen Hisako Tomoyasu, 55, of Ewa Beach, an environmental protection specialist for the Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Shafter, died in Honolulu. She was born in Ewa. She is survived by father Shohichi, mother Kiyoko, brother Derik and sister Lucy Wong. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. July 9 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Celebration of life: 6:30 p.m. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. July 11 at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
