John Harrison Dean, 83, of Kalopa Mauka, Hawaii, a yacht charter company owner, a macadamia nut and sheep farmer and a Marine Corps veteran, died at home. He was born in Boston. He is survived by wife Jan, son Chip, daughters Bryson Gauthier-Dean and Sally Dean Mello, stepsons Sunny and Nino Walker, sister Bryson and five grandchildren.
