Carolyn Vivien Blankfield, 75, of Hilo, a licensed clinical social worker and teacher at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, died in Pohai Malama. She was born in Milwaukee. She is survived by son Alexander Hatzis, brother Allen Silverstein and a grandchild. Services: 2 p.m. July 17 at Wailoa State Park Pavilion No. 2.
