BRIAN FRANK LOPES Brian Frank Lopes, 50, of Lihue, Kauai, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children at Straub Hospital, June 19, 2016. He was born in Kailua, Oahu on October 2 1965, and grew up in Lihue. Brian is preceded in death by father, Frank Lopes Jr.; maternal grandparents, Frank and Eleanor Carlos of Kailua, Oahu, and fraternal grandparents, Frank and Rose Lopes of Kailua, Oahu. Survived by loving wife, Michelle; beloved children; sons, Tyler Lopes, Bradley Lopes, Kapono Lopes, Nainoa Lopes and daughter Kamaile Lopes. Also, Kaina Christian, Kelani Griep, Jordan Lee and Lono Montgomery. Mother, Maureen Lopes of Lihue; sisters, Deanne Candy (Mike) Lind of Wailua Homesteads, Sheri (Tom) Maier of Washington, Roxanne (Dave) Daugherty of California, and Maile (Ira) Silva of Lihue, and brother, Darin (Marie) Lopes of Lihue, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Father-in-law, Lambert Aqui of Kapaa and mother-in-law, Joan Cliff of Poipu. Brian is a graduate of Kauai High School and U.H. Hilo. A handyman by trade, he was a very good and hard worker, very friendly and always smiling. Brian was a good and loving father to all his children, and a loving and wonderful husband. We have many wonderful memories of him which we all will cherish. Serivces were held.
