Isao "Roy" Takiyama, 93, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Public Works Center machinist and Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by daughters Gail Takiyama, Amy Monma and Lori Tsukada; sisters Sumako "Dora" Nakamura and Alva Yuen; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. July 15 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment: 1:30 p.m. at Nuuanu Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers. Condolences: diamondhead mortuary.net.
