81John Michael Julius Madey, 73, of Honolulu, a physics professor, died in Honolulu. He was born in New Jersey. He is survived by son Andrew and brother Julius M.J. Services to be held at a later date. Donations suggested to the Optical Society of America Scholarship Fund.
