78Federico Agruda Martinez, 89, of Kealakekua, a Pahala Sugar Plantation carpenter, died at home. He was born in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by sons Vicente and Danilo Maltezo, and Medrano Martinez Jr.; daughters Iluminda M. Domingo and Amalia M. Martinez; sisters Magdalena Pascual, Sianita Agamanos and Francisca Calumpit; brother Abraham; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. July 16 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Pahala. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Pahala Catholic Church Cemetery. Casual attire.
