Richard Masaichi Kiyuna, 84, of Kaneohe, a retired U.S. government engineering technician and officer in charge of construction, Mid-Pacific, at Pearl Harbor, and an Army veteran, died in Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre. He was born in North Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shirley F., sons Melvyn and Keith, daughter Susan Tanoue, brother Stanley, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. July 18 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Celebration of life: 5 p.m. Casual attire. Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific.
