Frances Ihilani Kwai Lin Ah Lin Taum Soon, 91, of Waianae, a retired U.S. Postal Service postmistress and branch superintendent in Nanakuli, died in Waianae. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Georgianna "Georgie" Padayhag, Francine "Kehau" Miura, Patricia "Pattie" Nakamura, and Maryann "Mamo" and Margaret "Billie" Soon; sons George "J.R.," Thomas, Francis "Boy," Hudson, Remigius "Gary," Robert "Eddie," Patrick "John" and Raymond; hanai daughters Carol Sarceda and Blossom Kapua; hanai son Willie Bucsit; brother Remigius Taum; sisters Pauline Taum, Patricia Peneku and Monica Pratt; 29 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. July 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waianae. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Hospice Hawaii.
