Isamu "Tom Mix" Miyata, 90, of Pearl City, a retired U.S. Postal Service carrier at the Waikiki Post Office and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Darrick I.; daughters Kay K. Murakami, Jean R. Orian and Anne A. Miyata; brother Wallace; sister Misao Takahashi; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services. No monetary offerings.
