Creighton Ualani Mattoon, 83, of Punaluu, Hawaii, a clinical psychologist and an Army veteran, died in Punaluu. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Cathleen J.; sons James K., Creighton U. Jr. and Peter K.; daughters Malia Newhouse and Margaret K. Weiss; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. July 23 at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers; lei welcome.
