Talauega Aumua, 70, of Hilo, an Alii Security manager and former owner of Polynesian Banana Farm in Keaau, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Western Samoa. He is survived by wife Geraldine L.; sons Max Jr., Jarrett, Samson and Scott Aiona; daughters Kuinivia T. and Aleni T. Aumua, Maxine Kalani and Darnelle Kahoonei; brother Tuatagaloa L. Fa'apusa; sisters Suiva'aia Paeu and Peaario A. Wilson, Taitu'uga K. Leung Wai; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. July 17 at Samoan Seventh-day Adventist Church, Kurtistown. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. July 18 at the church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 4. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
